The Resident Meal Order Form can be based on your chosen Menu or created Order Forms.

The Resident Meal Order Form is a convenient way of taking meal orders when Residents prefer to tick their own meal choices from a printed list.

The named forms can be printed and handed to Residents, or their carers, for completion at a time that suits them.

A blank version of the form can also be given to brand new Residents, who may not have had their Resident profile set up yet.

The Order Form can be highly customised, with many options to suit your Site and menu.

The Order Form can be customised in the following ways:

Use Menu/Form:

  • Menu - base the report on a menu (if you have more than one menu created, you will need to choose a menu from the drop down list):
    OR, choose:

  • Form - base this report on order forms (these must be created first in Manage Orders):

Use Template:

  • Date - build this report using a Date template (in this case, choose a Start Date and End Date in the relevant section).  Choosing Date template is more suitable if the Order Form is being taken around by staff taking orders, as multiple residents will appear on each page.
  • Resident - build this report using a Resident template.  This is the best option if forms are going to be handed out to Residents or their carers, as each Resident will have their own personalised order form.

There are many variations on the way the Resident Meal Order can look, depending on the report settings selected.

It is recommended that once you find your preferred settings you save your selections, so they don't have to be re-entered each time you generate the report:
