Access Resident Menu Selection Forms to Manage Orders (Live Order Forms)


Manage Orders is where you can locate Resident Menu Selection Forms where you enter Resident meal choices into SoupedUp.  You will also be able to generate order management reporting here once Resident orders are entered as required. 


A User will need Resident Orders to be selected in their Role when setting up the New User Profile or updating current User Profile to enable them to place orders for Residents in SoupedUp. To learn more about User Roles and Permissions, click here.


To access Resident Menu Selection Forms and Manage Orders: 

  • Select Catering from the side navigation bar.
  • Click on Orders.
  • Select Manage Orders.
  • Active and Planning Menus available will be listed under the Menus heading.
  • You must have an Active or Planning Menu currently available for the Resident Menu Selection Forms to display in the Manage Orders section.
  • The current Active menu will be highlighted in blue and any other Menus, for example Planning, will also be displayed for selection and can switch between Menus displayed here by clicking on the desired menu to highlight.
  • The Resident Menu Selection Forms created will then be displayed for week selection on the right side of the screen and you can click on the desired week to open the form.

Pre-Populating Resident Meal Choices in Resident Menu Selection Forms


If you would like to pre-populate resident meal choices, click on the Edit Button in the top right hand corner to see the Form Settings pop up, as shown below, and use the radio buttons to select/deselect Settings and Show/hide columns in the Resident Menu Selection Forms, as preferred and click on Save once selected.

Once clicking on the Edit key a Form Settings pop up box will appear to enable you to make your selections by clicking on/off on the toggles to show or hide the columns in the Resident Menu Selections Forms.

If you want to select or make changes to the preferred menu choices that appear in the Resident Menu Selection Forms for a particular week, click on the Form Settings icon as indicated in red below:

Once selecting the settings icon, you will then see a pop up as per sample below, enabling you to set the selections of courses and meal choices for display in the Resident Menu Selection Forms, by placing ticks in the desired boxes.  All Order Form settings as selected will then be displayed when you generate the Order Form.  You will also have the option to Copy the same selections to all weeks in these Resident Menu Selection Forms by selecting 'Copy new changes to' and ticking on the weeks.  When you have completed the selections ensure you click on Save. 


NOTE: 'Copy new changes to' will only work for all weeks when NIL current orders have yet been placed.  If orders are already in place, you will need to update each weeks choices individually save as per your new settings changes.

Click on the desired week of a Created Order Form to open the Resident Menu Selection Form for that week and begin taking orders.

Manage Orders - Reporting


If you want to access any reports related to ordering, click on the Reports (pie) icon to the right of any Created Form to access the following Reports menu:


Order reporting can be accessed in two ways:


1. By clicking on the pie icon to the right of any Created Form via Manage Orders:


2. By clicking on the Report in an opened Resident Menu Selection Form:



The Order Reports will be available once orders have been placed in the Resident Menu Selection Forms:  

 


NOTE: If NIL orders are currently placed in the Resident Menu Selection Forms and you attempt to generate Order Reports or if you have not updated the filters correctly in your Order Report selections, you will receive a pop up message error as indicated below:
