DATA SECURITY INFORMATION

We’re committed to the security of our clients’ data and provide multiple layers of protection for the information you entrust to SoupedUp.

Securing data requires a multi-faceted process that considers data throughout its lifecycle. This document outlines SoupedUp’s commitment to data confidentiality, data integrity and data authenticity.

Software access

SoupedUp allows you unlimited users to your service. Your designated administrator/s have control over creating users and the level of access they are permitted. Please see our Privacy Policy for further information.

User authentication

We provide standard access to the SoupedUp software through a verified unique email address and password. Users can update their password at any time.

User accounts that remain inactive in excess of 90 days are automatically deactivated.

Data encryption

We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to protect your data in-flight. All at rest data is encrypted by Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Network protection

SoupedUp takes a robust approach to protecting our systems and your data. Multiple layers of security controls protect access to, and within, our environment including firewalls, intrusion protection systems and network segregation. 

SoupedUp’s security services are configured, monitored and maintained according to industry best practice. We partner with industry leading AWS to leverage their expertise and global reach to protect our systems.

Secure data centres

SoupedUp’s servers are located within enterprise-grade hosting facilities that employ robust physical security controls to prevent physical access to the servers they house. These controls include 24/7/365 monitoring and surveillance, on-site security staff and regular ongoing security audits. All Hosting Services are provided by AWS.

Security monitoring

SoupedUp’s security team continuously monitors security systems, event logs, notifications and alerts from all systems to identify and manage threats.

While SoupedUp has inbuilt security, there can be risks to working online and cyber threats are very real. Clients should take every precaution to reduce risks in their environments.

Security assurance

SoupedUp uses Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud to provide scalable computing capacity. We also maintain cyber security insurance coverage.
