Modified on Thu, 6 Nov at 2:18 PM

We are always working hard to ensure your SoupedUp experience is improving by introducing new features, making enhancements, and squashing bugs.

Following is a summary of changes you will find in release 2.2.3.

Have a suggestion or feature enhancement? Use the 'Help' button or email support@soupedup.com to let us know.

Orders:

Copy Comments in Order Form Added

You can now copy a General comment input into an order form to the same meal service and course for the rest of the week. Simply click the Copy button situated next to the General comment text box, determine whether existing comments should be replaced or left, and Confirm.

Menus:

Hyperlink to Choice Rules added to Add and Edit Menu

When adding or editing your menu, Choice Rules is now a clickable hyperlink (teal coloured) to ease navigation. If you need to add a recipe to your Choice Rules, simply click the hyperlink to be directed straight to the Choice rule page.

Course Settings in Use Can be Edited

You can now add Menu Choices to Course Settings that are in use in a Menu/Menu Template to avoid the need to create a new Menu Template. Menu Choices can be added and assigned to the Course Settings of an in use template. Saved Menu Choices cannot be deleted from the template.

Change to Menu Choices 'See More' Display

We have streamlined the way our See More functionality works when selected from the Menu Choices Management screen. Rather than opening a new page, the list of sites will open within the Choice Name on the same screen. Simply click See Less to collapse the list back to the initial four site names.

Source Template Name Now Displayed

We have added data to View Template so you can easily see the source of your menu template and when it was copied.

Change to Choice Rules Displayed

To simplify the way Choice Rules and Menu Items are displayed on the Choice Rules Management screen, we now display up to ten recipes and/or menu items per rule. If you have more than ten recipes/menu items in your rule, you can click See More to view the full list. Simply click See Less to collapse the list back to ten entries.

Reports:

Enhanced Community Ordering Meal Packaging Labels

If you have a Community site, check out our enhanced Meal Packaging Labels. We have extended the reporting options and changed the look of these labels.

When generating the labels you wish to print, you can filter by:

  • The menu required
  • The week of the menu and days of the week
  • The recipe you want the label for
  • Menu items if required
  • The date the recipe was prepared on and the date the meal should be consumed by

You can also choose whether you wish to print the labels by the number of orders for the recipe, or you can choose the number of labels to generate by selecting Custom.

Labels now display:

  • The recipe name
  • Allergens
  • Ingredients
  • Prepared On Date
  • Consume By Date
  • A Nutrition Panel
  • Your site Name, Logo and Address Details

New Show/Hide Meal Delivery Toggle in Resident Meal History

You now have the option to decide whether you wish to display the Delivery column in a resident's Meal History by simply clicking a Display Meal Delivery toggle.

SoupedUp will default the toggle as unchecked. If you wish to display the Delivery column, simply click the toggle on. Switch off to remove the column from the resident's Meal History display.

Include Assistive Devices Option Added to Breakfast Individual Tray Tags

An option to include Assistive Devices on Breakfast Individual Tray Tags has been added. If you wish to include Assistive Devices on your Breakfast Individual Tray Tags, simply select the option from the list prior to generating your report.

General:

New Dietary Restrictions Terms Added

The terms Iodine and Red Food Colour have been added to SoupedUp's list of Dietary Restrictions

If you use SoupedUp without a clinical integration, you will see these terms in the Dietary Restrictions dropdown list on the Dietary Tab in a resident's profile.

If you use SoupedUp with a clinical integration, you may wish to add these terms to the list where you record allergens in your clinical software for mapping to SoupedUp.

Free Text Character Limits and Characters Remaining Added

Maximum character limits will now be displayed when adding and editing Comments and Notes fields in SoupedUp (where limits apply). When text is added to the field, the number of remaining characters will be displayed.

Squashed Bugs

  • The alignment issue in our Resident Food Texture Labels has been resolved.
  • A Loading icon will now display when cloning a menu.
  • Recipes are now showing correctly in recurring events.
  • The Visible column has been removed from our Recipe Management screen.
  • Check Label is displaying correctly in the Menu Item List page.
  • Birthday List Report generation errors have been fixed.
