Summary of Head Office Functionality


Head Office is an organisational tool used as a central point to manage all sites, including reporting, organisational templates and menus to share to sites.


Head Office is used as a base to manage the structure of menus by building standard templates, recipes, menu items, menus, etc, for use in all your sites and with flexibility and time saving enabling you to copy the menus across your other sites once completed.

 

Head Office Menu Cloning Process - Clone Head Office Menu to Sites

 

IMPORTANT NOTES: 

  1. Menu start and end dates are NOT editable once menu is cloned
  2. Always ensure that once you click on clone menu, then SAVE, you should wait for the newly cloned menu to appear on the screen with the confirmation of success of the cloning function.
  3. When acivating a menu, ALWAYS remember the menu MUST start on MONDAYS and end on SUNDAYS. 

 

A template must be active to enable you to clone a menu, however you can clone all menu status options from Head Office to sites.  When you have completed your template and your menu in Head Office, go to the site and click on the "show organisational menus" radio button to display all Head Office (all status) available menus.  Follow the steps below to copy your menu:


Cloning Head Office Menu to Site

  1. Locate the Head Office menu you wish to copy 
  2. Click on the CLONE icon in the ACTIONS column
  3. Name your menu (note; cannot be same name as existing menus)
  4. Select the status ie, PLANNING, ACTIVE, INACTIVE, NOT IN USE as applicable 
  5. Click on the radio button HAS CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST, if applicable
  6. Select START and END dates, noting a menu STARTS on a MONDAY and must END on a SUNDAY
  7. Select MENU WEEK START (Example: for a 4 week menu start week can be 1, 2, 3 OR 4)
  8. Click SAVE 
  9. Wait for the cloning function to fully complete before navigating out of the current screen
  10. A pop up will display to confirm success when menu cloning is complete
