Temporary Leave is when a Resident is away from the site, including for an extended period of time, ie; hospital stay, social leave. In these cases, it is practical to change their Status to Temporary Leave.


When in Residents, click on the Edit icon in the chosen Resident's Actions column.


The Status box is to the right of the Edit Resident details:

Click into the Status* drop-down menu and choose Temporary Leave.


Choose a Status Change's Reason and enter any Comments, if relevant:


Click Save.


Remember, a Resident on Temporary Leave does not appear in any reports, however you can search for a Resident on Temporary Leave in the Resident List by changing the status filter to Temporary Leave. When a Resident is on Temporary Leave from the site, they still retain their Wing, Room, Bed, Dining, Table allocation.


When in Residents, to view your 'Temporary Leave' residents, remember to change the Filter by Status to Temporary Leave :
